Information and Photo from VICPOLICENEWS.com.au: Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing Malvern East (Australia) man.
Herman Rockefeller was last seen at Melbourne Airport on Thursday at 9pm.
He had disembarked from a flight and investigators believe that he collected his 2007 Toyota Prius and left the airport.
Mr Rockefeller has not made contact with his family since leaving the airport however his car was located around 3 this afternoon in a laneway off the Ballan-Daylesford Road, Ballan.
Herman is described as 170 centimetres tall, medium build, balding with short brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a grey business suit with a white shirt
Police hold concerns for Herman as the disappearance is out of character.
Police have made some progress in the search for Herman Rockefeller with his car being found this afternoon
A local resident noticed the car in Carween Lane Ballan around 1.30pm.
Local police were notified and they verified that the car belonged to Mr Rockefeller.
A crime scene was set up and Detectives from Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit notified.
State Emergency Services members conducted a line search of the surrounding area and Victoria Police Forensic Experts examined the scene.
The vehicle was found locked and in good condition.
There was no evidence at the scene to indicate that any act of violence had occurred in the nearby area.
Police are still calling on the public to assist in locating Mr Rockefeller.
They would also like to hear from anyone who can assist in establishing when Herman’s car was parked in Carween Lane.
